Setting a weekly workout goal helps you stay consistent with your training. It’s used for optional workout reminders and for tracking weekly progress with streaks.
Set your weekly workout goal
Go to My Plan.
Scroll to Training Profile and tap Workouts / Week.
- Choose one of the following:
Days Per Week: Set a weekly training frequency (for example, 3 workouts per week).
Specific Days: Select exact workout days (for example, Tuesday and Thursday).
- If you choose specific days, you can set a Workout Preview Notification time. If you use Days Per Week, workout previews are scheduled automatically when notifications are enabled.
How workout previews are scheduled
Workout preview notifications are optional and depend on your selected schedule.
If Days Per Week is selected, previews are spaced evenly throughout the week.
If Specific Days is selected, previews are sent on those days at your chosen time.
To receive workout previews:
Notifications must be enabled in Fitbod’s settings.
Notifications must also be enabled in your device’s system settings.
How streaks work
A streak tracks how many consecutive weeks you’ve met your weekly workout goal. Each time you complete your goal for the week, your streak increases by 1. If you do not meet your goal by the end of the week, your streak resets to 0. There is no grace period.
Streaks are based on the total number of workouts logged during the week, not on consecutive workout days. You can complete your workouts on any days of the week, as long as you meet your weekly total.
Example: Your weekly goal is set to 3 days a week.
Complete 3 or more workouts in a week → Streak continues
Complete 2 or fewer workouts in a week → Streak resets to 0
For example, working out on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday or on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday both count the same toward your streak.
View your weekly goal and streak
You can view your current streak and weekly workout progress from the Log tab. At the top of the screen, you’ll see your active streak, weekly workout goal, and the number of workouts you’ve completed so far.
After you log a workout, the streak card updates to show:
Which workouts for the week have been completed.
How many workouts remain to reach your weekly goal.
A confirmation when you hit your weekly goal, and your streak automatically carries over into the next week.
FAQ
Can I change my start of the week day in the app?
No, this can’t be changed directly in the Fitbod app. The start day of the week follows your phone’s regional settings. To adjust it, you can update your region settings in your device’s general settings.
