Cancel or Request a Refund via Fitbod's Website
If you've received the option to pause your subscription, here's how it works. Pause is offered to eligible subscribers and isn't available on request. Availability and details depend on how you subscribed.
This applies to Fitbod monthly subscriptions purchased directly through our website (not through the Apple App Store or Google Play). If you've been offered a pause, here's what to expect and how to manage it. Annual subscriptions and free trials can't be paused.
How pausing works
- Pausing takes effect after your current billing period ends, so you’ll have access to use the app until then.
- A subscription pause lasts one month.
- During your pause, you won't be billed.
- When the pause ends, your subscription resumes automatically and billing continues on your regular subscription plan.
What happens while my subscription is paused?
- You can still open and browse the Fitbod app.
- You won't be able to start or log workouts until your subscription resumes.
- Your workout history and settings are saved.
- You can resume your subscription at any time to regain full workout access.
Can I pause my subscription more than once?
- You can have one active pause at a time.
- After your pause ends and your subscription resumes, you may become eligible for another pause offer in the future.
Can I extend an existing pause?
No. Existing pauses can't be extended. Once your current pause ends, your subscription will automatically resume. If you're eligible in the future, you may receive another pause offer.
How do I cancel a scheduled pause?
If your pause hasn't started yet, you can cancel it before it takes effect.
To cancel a scheduled pause:
- Open the Fitbod app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Manage Subscription.
- Tap Cancel Pause.
Your subscription will continue without interruption, and your scheduled pause will be removed.
How do I resume my subscription early?
You can end your pause at any time before it expires.
To resume your subscription:
- Open the Fitbod app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Manage Subscription.
- Tap Unpause Now.
Your subscription will become active immediately, billing will resume that day, and you'll regain full workout access.
To cancel:
- Go to https://app.fitbod.me/ and log in to your account.
- Under the Your Plan section, select Cancel.

Cancel or Request a Refund via Google Play Store
If you subscribed through Google Play, you may be able to pause your Fitbod subscription instead.
Who can pause a subscription?
Pausing is available if you:
- Subscribed through Google Play, and
- Are on a monthly subscription.
Annual subscriptions and free trials can't be paused.
How pausing works
When you pause, your subscription is placed on hold for a set period — anywhere from 1 to 3 months — instead of being canceled.
A few things to keep in mind:
- The pause takes effect after your current billing period ends, so you'll keep access until then.
- While paused, you won't be able to start or log workouts until your subscription resumes.
- When the pause period ends, your subscription automatically resumes and Google attempts to renew it. Once the payment goes through, your subscription becomes active again.
How to pause your subscription
- Open the Google Play Store and tap your profile picture in the top-right corner.
- Select Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Under Active, tap your Fitbod subscription.
- Choose the pause option and set your pause length.
- Tap Confirm.
How to resume early
Changed your mind? You can restart your subscription before it resumes automatically:
- Go back to Subscriptions in Google Play and tap your Fitbod subscription.
- Tap Resume.
- Review your payment information and tap Resume again to confirm.
To cancel (on your Android device):
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions.
- Tap Subscriptions, select Fitbod, then tap Cancel subscription.:
To cancel (on a computer):
- Go to play.google.com.
- Open My subscriptions.
- Select Fitbod, click Manage, then Cancel subscription.
To request a refund:
- Use Google's refund page: Request a Google Play refund, or
- Email us at support@fitbod.me with your full name, Fitbod account email, and a screenshot of your receipt.
Cancel Anytime Policy
Fitbod subscriptions auto-renew so your access isn't interrupted. You can cancel anytime — here's what to expect:
- Canceling stops future billing but does not issue a refund for the current period.
- You keep full access until your next billing date.
- Deleting your Fitbod account does not cancel your subscription — be sure to cancel first using the steps above.
