If you’ve taken some time off from working out, or if your Fitbod recommendations don’t feel quite right, you may want to recalibrate your training data. Fitbod uses your logged workout history to personalize sets, reps, and weights — so if your data is outdated or inaccurate, it can impact your recommendations.
There are two main ways to get back on track:
Option 1: Manually Adjust Your Recommendations (Recommended for Most Users)
If your past workout history is generally accurate, but you’ve just taken a break, the best approach is to manually adjust your exercise performance as you train.
Start your workout as usual. If the recommended weight, reps, or sets feel too heavy or too light, log the actual numbers you performed instead. Fitbod will learn from your updated performance and adapt automatically over time.
✅ Best for: Users who took a short or long break but whose past performance data is still valid.
⏱️ Timeline: Recommendations typically recalibrate after a few sessions.
Option 2: Clear Your Workout History (Reset From Scratch)
If your workout data has consistent errors (such as incorrect units, scaling mistakes, or inaccurate logging), our support team can clear your workout history for you.
This process wipes all previous workouts from your account. You’ll start fresh, and Fitbod will rebuild recommendations based on new workouts. Important: Once cleared, you will no longer have access to your past workout history in the app.
✅ Best for: Users with heavily skewed data that cannot be corrected through normal logging.
⚠️ Note: This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Which Option Should I Choose?
If your data is mostly accurate → Option 1: Manually Adjust is the fastest, most effective method. If your data has frequent, unfixable errors → Option 2: Clear History may be the better choice.
